A woman was hit and killed on Highway 97 on Monday (Dec. 16) night.
Kelowna RCMP said the incident happened around 6 p.m. in the 3600-block of Highway 97 (near Sexsmith Road). She was rushed to hospital but later died of her injuries.
Police stated the driver remained on scene and that there is no criminality or impairment suspected in the incident.
