The Kelowna Volleyball Club 16U girls team, Kwest, finished in fourth place at Volleyball Canada91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s 16U Western Canada Championship in Calgary on the May long weekend.
Ranked 14th heading into the event, Kwest won its pool with a 3-0 record, then defeated Manitoba in the quarterfinals.
After a loss to a team from Calgary in the semi-finals, KVC fell just short in the bronze medal match losing 24-26 in the third set.
Fourth place was the best finish by any Interior team.
