Vehicle fire seen across West Kelowna

The fire was called around 8:30 a.m.

A vehicle on fire can be seen across West Kelowna on Tuesday morning, Jan. 14.

A fire was been spotted in West Kelowna in Tuesday morning, Jan. 14.

The blaze was found around 8:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Old Okanagan Highway, close to Walmart.

Upon West Kelowna Fire Rescue (WKFR)'s arrival, they found a fully engulfed travel trailer. 

The occupants of the trailers were not in the trailer at the time of the blaze and were cared for by emergency services for minor injuries. 

According to RCMP, the fire is not suspicious and non-criminal in nature. However, WKFR is investigating the cause of the fire.

WKFR attended the scene with two engines and a safety officer.
