Lime had a busy year in Kelowna.

According to the transportation company, residents took more than 500,000 rides on Lime scooters and bikes in 2024.

More than 100,000 rides happened in July alone, making it the highest month of ridership.

All the trips took an estimated 356,000 car trips off the road, saving up to 160 metric tons of carbon emissions and 68,000 litres of fuel.

With all these rides, Lime passed 1.4 million rides in Kelowna since its inception to the city in 2021, totalling more than three million kilometres travelled.

"We look forward to continuing to provide riders in Kelowna green transportation options while maintaining laser focus on safe riding, proper parking, and ongoing improvements through community engagement."
