Rental apartment project proposed for Kelowna's Capri-Landmark area

Plans by Saba Construction include two six-storey apartment buildings on a 1.4-acre property

A new rental housing project has been proposed for the corner of Pacific Avenue and Pasnak Street in Kelowna.

Plans by Saba Construction include two six-storey apartment buildings on a 1.4-acre property. A total of 210 rental units are planned for the site. A zoning change is needed to accommodate the project.

Documents submitted to the city state that the location offers residents easy access to shopping, jobs, and entertainment. It also includes plans for direct access to the future Mill Creek Park, which will feature public green space and connecting trails. The City of Kelowna has already purchased nearby land for the park.

The development design includes two "L"-shaped buildings atop a landscaped podium with a plaza, community garden, and open green spaces. Planned upgrades to Pacific Avenue are also part of the proposal.
